HOW TO USE THE KETTLE
• Remove the unit from the base, open the lid by pressing the release button and fill
the kettle with water. The water must not exceed the maximum level indicated
(MAX) and must not be below the minimum level (0.5L) indicated.
• Close the lid and make sure the kettle is switched off before placing it on the base.
The lid must be closed well, otherwise the device does not turn off automatically
after use.
• Place the base of the kettle on the flat and stable surface, then place the kettle on
its base.
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• To turn on the device, move the ON / OFF switch to “I” position.
• When the water boils, the kettle shuts off automatically. Wait 15-20 seconds before
re-turn on the kettle.
• Make sure the kettle is switched off before removing it from the base.
• You can turn off the kettle before the water boils by moving the ON / OFF switch in
the “O” position.
• If the unit is accidentally turned on, but the water level is below the minimum level,
the kettle will switch off automatically. Wait 5-10 minutes before turning on the
kettle again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power socket, empty any remaining
water and allow the device to cool completely down.
• Clean the outside surface with a soft, damp cloth.
• Use a mild detergent to remove any impurities; do not use metallic sponges or abrasives.
• Never immerse the appliance and its base in water or other liquids.
• Do not put the appliance and the base in the dishwasher.
• Store the product in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture build. Remove any
remaining water before storing.
HOW TO DESCALE THE KETTLE
• The limescale formed inside the kettle, influences the taste of water and slows down
the exchange of heat between the water and the resistance. It can also lead to
overheating and malfunction.
• To remove limescale, fill the kettle to the max mark with a solution of water and
vinegar in proportion 2: 1.
• Bring the solution to the boil and let it work overnight. The next morning empty
the kettle, fill it only with water to the max mark and bring to the boil again.
Then empty the appliance.
