USER MANUAL
Thanks for purchasing INNOLIVING heating pad. This heating pad is fitted with a special
safety device which automatically regulates the temperature, by turning the power on
and off at regular intervals. The temperature of the heating pad is the maximum allo-
wed by EU standards to guarantee user safety.
Before use, read carefully this instruction manual and keep it as reference for future
use.
GENERAL SAFETY NORMS
1. After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact with no visible signs of da-
mage caused during transport. Should you have any doubts, do not use the applian-
ce and send it to an authorized Service Centre. Packaging components (plastic bags,
cardboard, polystyrene etc.) must be kept out of the reach of children as they have
the potential to be dangerous and their disposal should be carried out according to
the current regulations.
2. Before connecting the appliance, check that the rating plate specifications, as indi-
cated on the appliance correspond with your mains supply.
3. Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cords. If the plug of the
appliance is incompatible with the mains socket, you should consult a qualified elec-
trician.
4. This appliance must only be used exclusively as a heating pad as indicated in the
instructions. Any other use is to be considered hazardous. The manufacturer cannot
be held responsible for any damage due to improper or incorrect use.
5. Certain fundamental guidelines must be respected when using any sort of electrical
appliance. Specifically:
- Never touch the appliance with hands or feet that are wet or damp.
- Never pull on the power cord, or the appliance itself, to remove the plug from the
socket.
- Do not leave the appliance exposed to the elements (rain, sun, etc.).
6. Before cleaning or servicing the appliance, disconnect it by removing the plug from
the socket.
7. Should the heating pad or protection fuse break down and/or fail to work properly,
turn off the ppliance and do not tamper with it. For any repairs, send it to an autho-
rized Service Centre.
8. To avoid any dangerous overheating, we recommend unwinding the power cord
completely during use, and disconnecting the plug from the socket when the ap-
pliance is not in use.
9. The control unit power cord cannot be replaced. If damaged, it will be necessary to
replace the complete unit. Please contact an authorized Service Centre for details.
10. Never immerse the appliance in water. The cover only is washable.
11. CAUTION- Prolonged use at a high temperature may cause burns. Never fall asleep
with the heating pad in operation.
12. Never pull the appliance by the power cord and never use the cord as a grip.
13. This appliance is not designed to be used in hospitals.
14. Do not use the appliance with the infirm, infants or persons insensitive to heat and
wearers of pacemakers or other battery-powered medical devices. This appliance is
not to be used by young children unless the control has been preset by a parent or
