The Smart Socket can be used to send information about Innohome Stove Guard or gas, car-
bon monoxide or smoke alarms to a Telecare centre. The Smart Socket also has its own alarm
signal and signalling light.
The alarm signal and light are reset by pressing the Smart Socket push-button (1,
see image on page 2) once.
The alarm can also be reset by pressing the Intelligent Heat Sensor push-button/cover once
(when used with the Stove Guard).
The Smart Socket alarm can be reset from the Telecare centre.
The Stove Guard can be located in another room and within any distance, gas, carbon mon-
oxide and smoke alarms need to be located in the same room and within 5 metres distance of
the Smart Socket. The Smart Socket is compatible with all gas, carbon monoxide and smoke
alarms.
Setup
1. Connect the cable (sold separately) to the Telecare unit.
2. Connect the Smart Socket to the power socket. Wait for five seconds, after which press the
Smart Socket push-button (1, see image on page 2) and hold it down until first a red light
alights and then a green light. Release the button after the green light has turned off.
Innohome Smart Socket used together with the Innohome Water Leak Sensor provide addi-
tional protection for Aquastop washing machines/dishwashers. A leak detected by the Water
Leak Sensor will trigger the Smart Socket to turn off the washing machine/dishwasher’s pow-
er and water supply. The power and water are also cut-off in the event of a smoke or carbon
monoxide alarm, or using a timer. See the setup instructions from the Water Leak Sensor user
manual.
