Important safety instructions
1 READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
2 To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this fan for
any solid state speed control device.
3 If the power cord is damaged, it is strongly recommended to be
repaired by a qualified person.
4 This appliance has a grounded three-prong plug and is suitable for
grounded receptacle use only. If an adapter is used for connecting
three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles, the
adapter must be properly grounded.
DO NOT attempt to defeat the purpose of this safety feature.
5 Do not leave the fan running unattended.
6 Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other objects through the fan
housing when the table fan is running. Unplug the fan when
moving it from one location to another.
7 Disconnect the fan before cleaning.
8 To avoid overturning, be sure that the fan is placed on a stable
surface during operating
9 To reduce the risk of electric shock, DO NOT use the fan by a
window.
10 The rules about cords and plugs are as follows:
a. This product uses an overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse
indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse burns
out, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per
the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper
fuse rating) and check the products. If the replacement fuse
blows, a short circuit may be present and the product should be
discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for
examination and/or repair.
b. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard or
return the fan to an authorized service facility for examination
and/or repair.
c. Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with
throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route the cord
under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from traffic
areas and where it will not be tripped over.
