Unit Description

Unit Overview

The Thermo King Precedent units are one piece, self-contained, diesel
powered, air cooling/heating units operating under the control of the SMART
REEFER

™

4 (SR-4) programmable microprocessor controller. The unit

mounts on the front of the trailer with the evaporator extending through an
opening in the front wall.

The units feature all-new DDE (Diesel Direct Electric) architecture, the quiet
running Thermo King engine, and the Thermo King X430L/X430P
reciprocating compressor.

Precedent units are available in the following models:
