FA5i-MRA winches are shipped with a muffler, 6 feet (2 mm) of exhaust hose and the necessary assembly attachments to install the muffler at a distance far
enough away from the operator to ensure noise level exposure of less than 90 dBA over an eight hour period [Time Weighted Average (TWA)]. The recommended
distance is based on noise levels recorded during factory testing. Refer to the “INSTALLATION” section for additional information.
