FUEL GAUGE
The fuel gauge gives a visual indication of the fuel level. The fuel gauge operates
when the key switch is set to ON.
HOUR METER
The hour meter gives a visual indication of the total engine run time. The hour
meter operates when the engine is on.
The hour meter is used by trained technicians to monitor vehicle use and
determine when periodic inspections and maintenance are necessary.
LOW OIL WARNING LIGHT
NOTICE
FAILURE TO ADD OIL IMMEDIATELY WHEN THE LOW OIL
WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON CAN CAUSE IN PERMANENT ENGINE
DAMAGE. ADD ENGINE OIL IMMEDIATELY WHEN THE LOW OIL
WARNING LIGHT STAYS ON.
The low oil warning light gives a visual indication of:
• Oil level problem
• Electronic fuel injection (EFI) system problem
STATUS CONDITION
OFF
Normal Operation
ON
(CONSTANT)
When possible:
1. Stop the vehicle.
2. Turn the key to OFF.
3. Examine the engine oil level.
4. Add engine oil as necessary.
5. If the low oil level warning lamp stays on, have a trained technician
examine the vehicle.
