Configuration
All indoor units are factory configured. If modifications are required, the Technician Utilities Tool
(TUT) is strongly recommended. However, any of the following devices can be used:
•
Technician Utilities Tool (TUT) (instructions follow)
•
Wired Remote Control (refer to VRF-SVN59* for instructions)
•
Wireless Remote Control (If you use this device, a ducted signal receiver (TVCTRLTRKA10N0)
is required.)
Note:
Configuration changes are not required for typical installations.
Using the Technician Utilities Tool (TUT)
To change configurations using the Technician Utilities Tool (TUT), follow this procedure:

At the Indoor Unit Option Writer screen on the TUT, select the desired option codes by referring

2. Use the following table and notes to determine which digits can be modified.
