Check that the DSES system is operational each time the device is started.
To do this :
1- Switch on your pruning shear by pressing the button no. 10.
2- Check that pruning shears is not indicating a fault (If the led no. 9 is red and that
the Data base indicates a fault D07, see the “DSES fault indication” box below).
3- With the glove no. 8, fl at down without the hand inside, come in contact with
the pruning shear hook. The blade must open or not close when the trigger no. 12
is operated.
To validate DSES is in working order, the shear should never close after having
tested the complete glove surface (palm of the hand and the five fingers, on the
inside and outside of the glove).
As well as carrying out daily checks, you should also carry out visual checks to
ensure that the conductive glove is in good overall condition. It is also necessary to
hand-wash the conductive glove using clean and cold water with no detergent,
once a week in order to maintain optimum conductivity. Check the cleanliness of
your cutting head. Too much dirt can alter both the conductivity and the correct
operation of the safety system.
DO NOT FOR ANY REASONS, TEST THE GLOVE WITH THE HAND INSIDE
