Settings
Function F6, Service indicator 1
The maximum amount of programmable running hours before a revision service is required. This
register will count down per 1000 minutes of relay 1 activity. The value of this register represents the
number x 1000 minutes, e.g. 5 = 5000 minutes. When the counter reaches zero, the “SR” message
will appear on the display. This is the standard message to indicate that a revision “service” is
required. The maximum value to be programmed is 254 (x 1000 minutes). If the value is set at 255,
the service counter is out of action.
Note:
The timer will keep running as usual.
Function F7, Service indicator 2
This service counter works as described in function F6 but as soon as this counter has counted down
to zero (service counter = 0), the SunTimer
®
is inhibited.
Function FA, Standard or external start mode
Setting “00”: The SunTimer
®
can be started by pressing the Timer key or by generating a pulse of
more than 200 thousands of seconds by means of an external connection.
Setting “01”: The SunTimer
®
can be started by generating a pulse of a minimum of 20 thousands of
seconds and a maximum of 200 thousands of seconds by means of an external connection. This
setting is particularly useful to connect a mechanical coin-acceptor unit.
Note: If “01” is chosen, dipswitch 3 (Timer key) has to be disconnected.
Function FB, Running time counter (reset possible)
The running time counter is an electronic counter, which registers cumulatively the number of minutes
the main channel, relay 1, has been operative. The main channel relay 1 is only active during the
main time of the SunTimer
®
. It is possible to scroll the counters by pressing the Start/Pause key (Up).
The 6-digit counter is read back to front, as follows;
