Intrinsic Safety (IS) Cable Adapter installation

IS Cable Adapter
connector

RGX IS port

Arrow

Wide notch

Turn the IS power port cap
counterclockwise

(approximately 45°) to
expose the port for use.

Align the arrow on the top of the adapter connector to the wide notch on the IS port; push on to
the port to connect.
Turn the swivel connector clockwise (approximately 45°) until it clicks closed or a full-stop
connection impact is felt.

Connect the other end of the adapter in accordance with the

Product Manual

instructions from the compatible Industrial

Scientific power-supply accessory that will be used.
