Serial interfaces

Both interfaces can be operated using 
jumpers either as RS232 or RS422. The 
SAM board has an automatic baud rate 
detector. The  maximum baud  rate is 
115200 baud.

Transmitter power InfoLink

The transmitter jumper influences the illumination intensity of the emitting 
LED and thereby the length of the light distance to the next board.
For the correct matching of the emitted light intensity to the cable attenuation, 
the jumper must be plugged as follows:
