This Charger is designed to re-charge AA/AAA Nickel-
Metal Hydride(Ni-Mh) and Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cad)
Batteries. Will also re-charge external USB devices that
use a USB charging cord.
Please note that this Charger must not be used with
Alkaline, Carbon Zinc, Lithium or any other type of
batteries other than Ni-Mh or Ni-Cad. Attempting to
charge any other types of batteries or devices could
cause personal injury and/or damage the Charger.
Before use, please read the Operating and Safety
Instructions below carefully.
Features:
1. 2 Way Power Source - AC Mains Adaptor, 12V Car
Adaptor.

Batteries and a USB device.

Operating and Safety Instructions
Re-Charging AA/AAA Batteries:
1. Place 1 to 4 AA or AAA Ni-Mh/Ni-Cad into
the charger base, observe correct position
(Refer Picture 1)
.
2. The capacity mAh of each AA/AAA should be the
same if charging 2 or more batteries.
3. Plug the external AC Adaptor into mains outlet and
connect to “Input” port of the charger.
4. When using in a vehicle - Connect the supplied
12V Car Adaptor plug to the “Input” port of the
charger. Plug the large end of the adapter into the
vehicle’s power outlet port.
5. LCD will display the type of battery and flash
during charging.
6. LCD will show progress of charging till fully
charged.
7. After charging is completed, unplug the Adaptor.
Bad Cell Detection:
When a battery is placed into the battery charger, the
charger will automatically detect the status of the
battery. If a battery is not suitable for charging i.e.
short circuit or wrong polarity, the “Full” Bar on the LCD
Display will flash.
Re-Charging a USB Device :
1. Plug the external AC Adaptor into mains outlet and
connect to “Input” port of charger.
2. When using in a vehicle - Connect the supplied
12V Car Adaptor plug to the “Input” port of the
Charger. Plug the large end of the adaptor into the
vehicle’s power outlet port.
3. Connect the USB electronic device to USB
“Output” port

4. LCD will display “Output USB” device connected.
5. AA/AAA Batteries may also be charged at the
same time.
6. After charging is completed, unplug the Adaptor.
Important Safety Instructions:
• This Charger is intended for use with Nickel-Metal
Hydride (Ni-Mh) and Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cad)
rechargeable batteries ONLY. Attempting to charge
any other types of batteries will cause personal
injury and/or damage the Charger.
• Do not expose the Charger or Adaptors to water
or moisture.
• Do not expose the Charger to excessive heat or
fire.
• Designed and intended for indoor use only.
• Keep the Charger out of reach of children.
• Allow adequate ventilation when in use. Charger
and batteries may get warm during re-charging,
this is normal.
• Do not short circuit the contact pins.
• Keep all contacts and pins clean
• Do not apply excessive force when connecting or
disconnecting batteries to the contacts.
• Do not operate the Charger if it has been
subjected to shock or damage. If subjected to
shock or damage, have it serviced by a qualified
service technician.
• Do not disassemble the Charger. Incorrect
reassembly may result in a risk of electrical shock
or fire.
• Unplug the Charger from all power sources
after use and before attempting maintenance or
cleaning.
• Do not leave any batteries which are still
connected to the Charger when not charging.
