Potential Solution
Cuff failed to pressurize.
· Cuff not connected.
· Cuff worn too loosely.
· Cuff leaking air.
· Check if the cuff is connected and worn
properly.
· If air leaks from the cuff, replace it with
a new unit.
The cuff pressure changes rapidly during
pressurization.
· Intense movement during the
measurement.
· The air tube is folded.
· The cuff is released.
· The air tube fell out.
· Check that the monitor is connected and
the cuff is worn properly, and measure
the blood pressure in a stable state.
The cuff pressure changes rapidly during
the exhaust.
· Intense movement.
· The air tube is folded.
· The cuff is released.
· The air tube fell out.
The indicator of blood pressure is
too weak.
· Measured in thick clothes.
· The pulse is inherently weak.
· If measurement was taken over clothing,
remove the clothes and measure on bare
skin.
· Check if the cuff was worn properly.
The pressure exceeds 300 mmHg.
· The user carried out the manual
pressurization excessively.
· Intense movement during the
measurement.
· Perform manual pressurization properly.
(Please pressurize 30 to 40 mmHg higher
than expected pressure of the user’s
blood pressure.)
· Measure the blood pressure in a stable state.
Adapter malfuction.
· Disconnect the connected adapter.
· Use the AC adapter for BP170(B) only.
Product malfunction.
· Please contact to Product Support.
Low battery voltage.
· Replace with new batteries.
B. Troubleshooting
In this section, you will find troubleshooting information for device issues. When an error
occurs, will display in the Diastolic blood pressure column.
