How to Use
1. Plug in and red light will glow ON. This indicates that the appliance is working. Let the
appliance heat up sufficiently until the green light glows ON.
2. Slightly grease the heating plates with butter or cooking oil.
3. Now the appliance is ready for use.
4. Prepare the ingredients for your sandwich. For each sandwich or grill sandwich you
need two slices of bread and a suitable filling.
5. The browning of the bread depends on the amount of filling used. To get better results,
butter the sides of the bread in contact with the heating plates.
6. Lower the top heating plate on to the bread and lock the appliance.
7. When the green light glows 'ON' again, your sandwich is ready.
8. To make grill sandwiches, replace the sandwich plates with Grill plates.
9. Use a non-metallic spatula to remove the sandwich. Do not use sharp or abrasive things
as they may damage the non-stick coating.
10. Unplug the appliance after use.
Practical Advice
1. For optimal results, filling should be proper and well placed within the sandwich
slices.
2. Slightly grease the bread surface with butter to obtain better results.
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Always remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the base. Allow it to
cool down.
2. Push the detachable plate locks, and take off the two plates.
3. Wipe the plates with absorbing paper towel or a wet soft cloth. They can also be
cleaned under running water with soap water. Always wipe with a dry cloth before
placing it back.
