13. TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom                        Possible cause and remedy

Empty display
Radio no reacting
to operation

Connect the power
using the included
power unit.

Remote control does 
not
work

Battery is empty or not inserted properly. Please check that 
the batteries have been inserted the right way around.

DAB+ reception
interrupted

No stations
Run a
scan
Antenna not fully
extracted.
Change the radio’s location
(e.g. near a window),
run another scan search.

FM reception inter-
rupted

Antenna not fully extended, pull the FM antenna out to its
full length.
Change the location of the radio

Poor   audio quality 
when playing music 

File with low bit rate. Check the audio file. 
Tip: The bitrate should be 192kbit/s or higher for MP3 files.

Volume too low

Check the volume setting on the i300 CD. Check the volume 
setting of the paired device from 
which you are playing the music.

No network connec-
tion can be made

Check the WIFI functioning.
Activate the DHCP function of the router to which the radio is 
to be registered.
There may be an active firewall in the network.
