through the already extant hole in the middle of the upper rail into the window
frame, and drive one ¾” (or ½”) Hex-Head locking screw through hole in the middle
of upper rail into the window frame as shown.
STEP 7: SECURE WINDOW FILLER PANELS TO WINDOW FRAME
1. Extend the window filler panels out against the window frame.
2. Use a ⅛” drill bit to drill a pilot hole through the hole in the top horizontal bar of
each window filler panel and into the window sash (Figs. U and V) and connect with
one ¾” (or ½”) length hex head screw.
STEP 8: INSTALL WINDOW SASH SEAL AND SAFETY LOCK
1. Trim sash seal to fit window width. Insert be-
tween upper and lower windows (sashes). See
Fig. W.
