The Impact LS-CS40M C-Stand with Sliding Leg 40 in. features a top leg
that slides up and down the main riser so you can set up your C-stand on
uneven ground—like stairs or a steep incline—or on furniture, sidewalk
curbs, or set pieces. The other two legs feature a locking mechanism
that allows them to swing out and lock into place for easy setup, and to
collapse flat so you can store your C-stands side by side.
Often used in conjunction with a grip head and grip arm (sold separately,
see Recommended Accessories), you can use the Impact C-Stand to hold
lights and light modifiers, such as flags, “cookies,” etc. The Impact C-stand
is ideal for mounting heavy items because the stand has a low center of
gravity, and it easily accepts saddlebag-style sand bags for additional
stability.
The Impact LS-CS40M C-Stand with Sliding Leg 40 in. is compatible
with other grip equipment available from Impact Studio Lighting. For
