4.4 Bluetooth receiver
The Bluetooth receiver can be used for radio
communication with a Bluetooth signal source
(e. g. notebook, smartphone, tablet PC). Thus,
the SD-112RDS / BT will be able to replay the
audio files that have been stored on this source.
Note: The Bluetooth signal source must work with the
A2DP profile (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile);
otherwise, no radio communication will be possible.
1) Activate the Bluetooth function of the Blue-
tooth source (please refer to the manual of
the unit, if necessary).
2) Switch on the Bluetooth receiver of the SD-
112RDS

BT: Keep the button BT POWER
(
) pressed until the LED “PAIR” starts to
flash.
3) To facilitate the linking process to the signal
source, keep the button PAIR pressed until
the LED “PAIR” starts to flash more slowly.
4) Link the Bluetooth signal source to the SD-
112RDS / BT (please refer to the manual of
the signal source, if necessary). Once the
radio communication has been established,
the LED “PAIR” will light up constantly.
Note: On the display of the Bluetooth signal source,
the SD-112RDS / BT is indicated by “Audio Bluetooth”.
5) Start the replay on the Bluetooth signal
source.
6) To pause or continue the replay, use the but-
ton (BT
POWER).
Notes
1. As long as the replay is paused, the signal of the
audio player or tuner is available at the output
PRIORITY.
2. The Bluetooth signal source can only be con-
trolled with the buttons
, DOWN and UP when
it uses the AVRCP profile (Audio Video Remote
Control Profile).
7) To go to the previous or next title, briefly
press the button DOWN or UP (beneath the
button PAIR). For fast reverse or fast forward,
keep the button DOWN or UP pressed.
8) To switch off the Bluetooth receiver, keep the
button BT POWER pressed until the LED
“PAIR” extinguishes.
