2. Basic Operation
1. Unlock the Pendulum using the Pendulum on/off switch. This
releases the pendulum from its lock position allowing the laser
beams to be turned on and tool to self level.
2. Crossline Operation: press the line laser button once for horizontal
line only, twice for vertical line only and three times for both
horizontal and vertical.
3. Dot Point Operation: Press once for the 3 horizontal dots only,
press twice for plumb beams only and press three times to operate
all 5 dot simultaneously
To turn off completely, turn pendulum switch into off position.
When LX25P is out of self calibration range the beams will cut out
and warning buzzer will sound
3. Outdoor Use
For greater versatility this tool has a pulse mode which enables the
tool to be used in conjunction with a detector extending the tools
range to 50m.
To enable outdoor mode, turn instrument laser beam on then press
the pulse mode switch once. This enables the beams to pulsate so it
can be picked up by the detector.
4. Slope Mode
The self leveling pendulum mechanism can also be locked so you
can project a sloped line on a wall or staircase etc.
Turn the pendulum on/off switch to off position and use the laser
buttons to turn on required beam
Caution! When using LX25P for level function ensure pendulum is in
unlocked position.
