OPERATION WITH BATTERIES
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
NOTE FOR ADULTS
Before giving the product to children, first
remove all plastic, wires and any other ob-
ject designed to fasten it during transport.
Replacement and installation
LOLA requires 3 LR03 (AAA) 1.5V batteries
(included). Firstly, open the velcro closure
and set the switch to the OFF position (see
fig. 1). Remove the safety screw from the lid
of the battery compartment located at the
bottom of the base (see fig. 1). Notice the
correct placement of the batteries in the
image (see fig. 2) and place them according
to the position and polarity indicated. Re-
place the lid and the safety screw (for your
children’s safety) and finally close the velcro
closure.
Warning!
Replacing or handling the battery
should always be done under the supervi-
sion of an adult.
Operation
Renaming: LOLA
With the switch in ON position, follow these
steps if you want to record different names
for your pet:
1) Squeeze the dog’s right ear (A) (see fig. 3).
She’ll bark 2 times.
2) Tell her the name you prefer. For exam-
ple: “Lola”. She’ll bark twice.
3) Repeat the name again, if she barks 2
times you can continue to the next step
and if she doesn’t bark twice you have to
start the renaming procedure again (1).
4) Finally, repeat the same name. She will
bark twice and move her tail confirming
the name recording.
If not, repeat the name until you succeed.
Now she’ll recognise you by the name you
have given her.
Important!
While recording the name, keep
the area free of noises or sounds that may
interfere. Remember the name and how you
say it. As a precaution and to avoid prob-
lems, LOLA will always respond to her orig-
inal name whatever subsequently recorded.
HOW TO PLAY WITH LOLA?
Voice commands or orders:
To give voice commands, first say the name
you recorded earlier so that she can hear
you (such as “LOLA”). The dog will bark,
indicating that you can give her the order
you want. Say the order you want her to
follow loud and clear. If she understands
you well she will follow the order indicated.
You must wait until she stops barking before
giving one of the next voice commands. If
she doesn’t recognise the voice command,
repeat her name, wait until she barks and
give the command again. Remember that
LOLA can’t hear you or make sounds while
moving and that there should not be too
much noise around you when you give the
voice commands to avoid confusion.
Energy saving mode
After a few seconds of inactivity LOLA will
bark pitifully and disconnect. Click on the
(A) button to activate her again. After play-
ing with her, we recommend that you turn
the switch to the OFF position so that she is
completely turned off.
Tips for proper use
Troubleshooting
LOLA not responding, a decrease in the
volume of the sound, and erratic movement
are symptoms of dead batteries; they must
be replaced.
