Adding a License Key
Note
For assistance with a license key, or to purchase a license key,
please contact your Sales representative.
To enter a license key to activate inputs C and D, your CCS software
must be in Control mode. Follow these steps:
1. Select the DQS6800
+
module in the Navigation pane, right click,
and then select Control to open the module’s Control window.
2. If it is not already selected, click on the Parameters tab.
3. Select General in the tree view, and then type your license key in
the License Key field.
After you have entered a valid license key, the module reboots
automatically. When the module comes back online, the new features
will be activated. New parameters and alarms will be available on the
module, and they will be set to their defaults. Parameters that had
existed on the module prior to the addition of the license key will retain
their previous settings.
If your license key is valid, the Installed Options field will display the
features that are enabled on the module, which in this case will be 4I .
