Dear customer,
Congratulations on your new product. Please read the assembly instructions carefully before assembling and using
the product. Retain these instructions for future reference. Failure to follow can cause death, serious injury or
property damage.
Care and use
Lighting
1: Ensure the fire pit is positioned on a permanent flat, level, heat resistant, non-flammable surface away from
flammable items.
2: Place firelighters or dry kindling on the log grate in the center of the fire bowl bottom.
3: Place firewood on the firelighters or dry kindling.
4: Light the firelighters or dry kindling to start a fire.
Tending the fire
1: Add firewood to the fire pit to increase the heat slowly when embers glow. Do not overload with firewood, only tow
or three small logs is sufficient. Always use approved firelighters – never use alcohol, petrol or similar to light a fire.
2: When adding logs, you can use a fire tongs (not include) to allow additional airflow.
Extinguishing
To extinguish the fire pit, stop adding firewood and allow fire to die or douse with sand. Do not use water as this
may damage the fire pit.
Care and inspecting
1: This fire pit should be inspected on a regular basis to ensure product safety and longer product lifetime.
2: The fire pit should be cleaned with an oily rag (vegetable oil or rapeseed oil) after each use to ensure longer
product lifetime. Do not use oven cleaner or abrasive cleaner as they will damage this product. Cleaning sponges
made of metal wire, steel cloths or metal brushes must not be used on coated steel. In addition, in use naturally
occurring particles of steel left behind will lead to rust spots when the surface becomes wet.
3: Store this fire pit in a dry location to maximize product lifetime.
4: As the fire pit is made from steel, the surface will age and develop surface rust as soon as it is placed outside
and after use. This is to be expected but it does not affect use.
