Maintenance – Oil Change
Use ONLY Mobil 1
®
synthetic Motor Oil!
This is the only oil recommended for use in
the MV10. The recommended oil is carefully formulated to provide excellent protection to
the engine under severe conditions, furthermore there is no need whatsoever for the use
of supplemental additives. See “
Engine Specifications
” for your models the correct oil
viscosity.
Warranty Information
It will be considered misuse of the engine(s) if they are damaged through the use of
improper, low quality or non specified oil. The warranty does not cover repairs to damage
caused by misuse.
An oil change is scheduled for every 25 hours of operation.

The oil should also be changed if for any reason its temperature has exceeded 300º F.
Always change the oil filter each time the oil is changed, using only Ilmor approved filters
as listed in “Service Parts”.
Oil Capacity
The MV10 requires 8.5 quarts for fill after an oil and filter change.
Total fill (including cooler and lines) is 10 quarts.
Oil Removal
The MV10 engine has an engine oil drain hose routed from the oil pan for ease of total oil
sump drainage. 2 locations have been used as pictured (your engine will only have one
oil drain hose). This hose has a fitting on the end.
