Fasten the locking collar and snap into plate. See figure 8.
Note: The locking mechanism should be in back of the chute.

Loosen the knobs found on the top of the chute assembly and pivot the upper chute up or down to the
desired angle. Tighten the knobs before operating the snow thrower. See figure 10.
7.
Use the chute handle to position the chute to the direction you want to throw the snow. See figure 10.
Note: Never lift the unit by the chute handle.
