Dust collector (Fig. 6)
If the machine is to be used in vertical position e.g. for drilling
into ceilings, always fit the dust collector in place to the drill
bit before starting the work.
Hammer stop
The hammer drill is equipped with a hammer stop facility. To
deactivate the hammer action, turn the lever switch (Fig. 1,
part 5) clockwise.
To reactivate the hammer action, the lever switch (Fig. 1, part
5) has to be returned to original position.
Drill stop (Fig. 7)
You can deactivate the drilling action of the hammer drill
when using it for chiseling work. Turn the lever selector (3) so
that the arrow (a) coincides with the mark (c) .
To reactivate the drilling action, return the arrow (a) to coin-
cide with the mark (b) .
NOTE!
When hammer drilling you will require low pressure.
Too much pressure will place unnecessary load on the motor.
Check the drill bits regularly and re-sharpen or replace blunt
drill bits.
MAINTENANCE
The machine and ventilation slots must be kept clean at all times. Unplug the machine from power
supply and clean it thoroughly after each use with compressed air (max. 3 bar). Never use caustic
agents to clean the plastic parts. Check the carbon brushes regularly. Dirty or worn brushes result in
excessive sparking and speed faults.
DISPOSAL
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Recycle
where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.
