Power Supply:
The transmitter operates with either 8 dry batteries, 8 NiCad, NiMh cells or a recharge-
able battery pack with 9.6 Volt.
Converting the Throttle Stick:
According to your steering preference, the throttle function can be changed to a different
position. In order to do so do the following steps: (the pictured example showing stick con-
version from Mode 2 to Mode 3)
•
Remove the transmitter crystal and the battery box
•
Remove the 4 rear case transmitter screws
•
In order to remove the rear case you must remove the connectors to the potentio-
meters and the simulator jack (remove the threaded retaining nut on the top case).
Carefully remove the connectors, no wires may come loose.
•
Remove the spring of the right stick unit (Picture 2, left)
•
Un-tighten the 4 screws of the right stick unit a little for easier removal of the spring
lever arm (Picture 3).
•
Remove the spring lever arm and tighten the 4 screws again
•
Unscrew the ratchet on the left stick unit and hang up the lever arm and spring of the
right stick unit. The left stick lever is now self centering.
•
Tighten the ratchet at the right stick unit.
•
At next exchange the connectors of both stick units. The two inner and outer
connectors need to be exchanged (See pictures on the following pages).
