CAUTION: This fixture uses high voltage, before replacing the lamp; disconnect the fixture from its power supply. Warning! Lamp may be hot! Allow the
lamp to cool down sufficiently before replacing it. Do not switch on the Fixture without a lamp installed. Do not switch on the fixture without the ½ diffusion
in place. WARNING! The outside of the lantern can achieve high temperatures. Do not cover any ventilation slots. Always keep the main cables away from
the hot housing. A risk of overheating or fire can occur if misused. Do not overtax the fixture cables for transport or suspension of fixture. Always remove
the lamp from the fixture for transport. Do not operate the fixture if it shows any visible damage.
Mounting the Fixture
Insert the steel rod into a C-Stand coupler. Bring the fixture to the desired position. Tighten the grip handle on the C-Stand until it locks into place. Check
to ensure the fixture is securely fastened.
When the fixture is in a hanging position, be sure to secure the fixture with a safety cable from the mounting pipe or truss. Accessories which are not
secured with a safety top latch on the fixture must be secured with a safety cable as well. The carrying capacity of the safety rope must be rated at a
minimum of 10 times the weight of the fixture system including accessories. Stands must be set up in a stable position and capable of carrying the weight
of the fixture including accessories and cables.
Getting the Fixture Operational
Inserting the Lamp
Before replacing the lamp the fixture must be disconnected from the power supply. Before inserting, visually check the lamp for functionality. Damaged
lamps must not be operated. Ensure the lamp is firmly fastened in its socket and the lamp holder before every use. WARNING: The voltage rating of the
lamp must match the fixtures voltage. Connect the lamp head connector to the power source, and put the cable switch to the ON position.
Assembling the Fixture
The hook and latch system in the LLAN-19 is a simple system that allows for a quick and efficient set-up. The lamp can be placed into the fixture before
pushing the spring down to expand the light system. The ½ diffusion must be pulled up on the light before pushing down on the hook and latch system
to allow for the expansion of the steel cables. Trying to place the diffusion over the lamp when the hook and latch systems is already engaged will result
in the tearing of the diffusion.
Internal Care Instructions:
Please clean the diffusion regularly with plain soap and water. Please check the steel flex cable shows no signs of damage. Keep the contract surfaces of
the electrical screw in connections clean.
