1. Insertng the SIM card
Precautons before unsetling the data logger:
The device contains compronents that can be damaged or destroyed by electrostatc discharges.
Unload the body from electric charges before oprening and handling the device. To do so, touch a grounded
surface, such as the metal casing of an electrical cabinet.
Throw the dehydratng bags if they have a green color.
Our sensors and loggers with modem GSM/GPRS/3G need a SIM CARD to work.
The following stages must be resprected to assure the good functoning of the data logger :
The sensor must be in standby mode (no connecton with our sofware Avelour, by radio or USB) for the
modem to recognize the sim card.
1 – Unscrew the prrotecton ring and remove slowly the lid by the topr.
It is impreratve not to leave the sensor opren too long (max 2 min) the desiccant bags may absorb too much
moisture and do not fulfll their role thereafer (condensaton).
2 - Insert the SIM card (beveled edge side upr). Before closing the cover lid, prreload the antenna cable by
unscrewing of a turn.
3 - Place the lid back (mind the notch) on the threads and screw back the ring to the end.
