iHM8 does not turn on
no batteries are installed

Use another method to charge your iPod
Please make sure your iPod is working properly and charged up before
docking into the unit. You may need to reset your iPod.

Make sure volume is turned up on your iPod or other MP3 player
Make sure the audio cable plug is connected properly to the headphone
jack on your iPod or other MP3 player

Sound source is distorted
Batteries are weak
If the iPod original sound source (MP3) is old or of poor quality,
distortion and noise are easily noticed with high-power speakers. Try a
different audio source such as a music CD.
Try reducing the output volume on the device itself. Also try setting iPod
EQ to flat.
Loud noise when using
iPhone
Loud buzzing (TDMA noise) from the iPhone
may occur due to the iPhone sending
signals out to cell towers
Set your iPhone to Airplane mode. Note: the iPhone will not ring
while Airplane mode is on.
