Reviewing Battery Charge Level in Portable Mode
(AC adapter is disconnected and unit is ON)
1. Press the
Battery Level Button
when unit is ON but not charging (AC adapter is
not connected) to enter Battery Review Mode. The built in voice will announce the
current battery level.
Pairing Your Device
Pairing is the set-up process to introduce your Bluetooth-capable device to the iBT175.
Once your device is paired, the iBT175 can recognize it and you can play your audio through it.
1. Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it “discoverable” by turning on
Bluetooth mode (look in Options or Settings/Connections).
2. Press the
Power Button
to turn on the iBT175.
The first time the unit
is powered on, it will enter auto-pairing mode:
a voice will announce
“PAIRING”, the blue Bluetooth Status Indicator will blink, and the cabinet
will flash blue and red while the unit attempts to pair. “iHome
iBT175” should
appear in your device’s Bluetooth menu.
3. Select “iHome
iBT175” on device to complete pairing. If prompted for a
passcode, enter “1234”. The cabinet and Bluetooth Status Indicator will
appear solid blue. The unit will announce “CONNECTED”. There should also
be an indication on your device. If no device is successfully paired within
3 minutes the iBT175 will default to previous mode.
