Quick Start Guide
The ceiling mounting plate supports two different kinds of ceiling bars. The
position illustrated above is for 15 mm bars. Use the other position at a 90 degrees
angle for 24.5 mm bars.
3. Connect Cables
Connect Ethernet cable to the 1000BASE-T (PoE) port on the unit.
4. Connect Power
The AP can be powered either by the power supply provided in the box or by an
optional 802.3af/at PoE switch.
Powering the AP with a power supply
Connect Category 5e or better cable to the
leftmost RJ-45 port.
This 1000BASE-T (PoE) port is named
ETH0
.
Connect the other end of this cable to a
LAN switch.
(Optional) Connect local LAN devices to
any of the other RJ-45 ports of the
connector panel using Category 5 or better
cable.
These 100BASE-T ports are named
ETH1
and
ETH2
.

Connect the cable from the power supply to
the DC connector of the AP.
Connect the power supply to a nearby AC
power source (100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz).
