US ING THE AP P L IANCE 

This a ppl ia nce is de s igned for domestic use only, specifically for the storage 

of edible foods tuffs. 
This appliance is des igned to operate in ambient temperatures (surrounding air 
temperature) between 16°C and 32°C 
If these temperatures are exceeded i.e. ,colder or warmer, the appliance will not 
operate correctly. S hould the ambient temperatures be exceeded for long periods, the 
temperature in the freezer will rise above -18 C and food spoilage may occur. 
Remove all securing tapes . 
Wash the ins ide of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of 
soda added (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or 
detergent as the smell may linger. Dry the appliance thoroughly. 
Thermos tat Control 
The thermos tat control s ituated in the control panel regulates the temperature of the 
freezer 
compartment. 
Pos ition "Min" – Cold        Pos ition "Max" - Coldes t 
the compress or will work continous ly. The temperature will be affected by: 

-R oom temperature 
-How often the door is opened 
-How much food is s tored 
-Pos ition of the appliance 

To determine the correct temperaure control setting, all these factors have to be 
considered and some experimentation may be neces sary 

 

Do not allow children to tamper with the controls or play with the product. 

 

Do not us e detergents , abra s ive powders , highly perfumed cleaning 
products , wax polishes or products containing alcohol. 

To Start the Appliance 
1. Allow the appliance to s tand for 2 hours after ins tallation. 
2. P lug in the appliance and switch on at the mains supply. 
3. Turn the thermos tat control to the required setting. The MID setting is usually 
suitable for normal operation (see thermostat control). 
4. Leave the appliance for approximately 4 hours for the correct temperature to be 
reached before placing food ins ide.
