HOME XP1B - Wireless PIR motion detector
Specifications:
Transmission frequency: 433 MHz
Operating temperature: -
20°C ~ +55°C
Operating Humidity: 5% ~ 75%
Encoding used: PT2262/EV1527
Power supply: 1x battery type 9V 6F22
Security coverage: up to 12 m
Signal range to central unit: up to 80 m. in direct line of sight
Horizontal detection angle: 110°
Vertical detection angle: 60°
Recommendation:
- The maximum wireless signal range in an open environment from the central unit is 80 m. In
houses with thick masonry or reinforced concrete, this distance is significantly reduced.
- Use a 9V battery type 6F22.
- The flashing of the red LED indicates that motion has been detected.
- If the LED blinks twice or if it is still lit, the battery in the device is almost dead. Replace the
battery with a new one as soon as possible.
- To prevent false alarms, install the detector well away from windows, fans, and heat sources.
Rapid temperature changes and drafts can cause false alarms in the detector.
- Also, be careful of curtains, their rippling due to heat from the radiator can also cause false
alarms.
- The detector must be placed firmly on the wall indoors and there must be no shaking.
- It is a good idea to position the detector so that the detected object moves perpendicular to the
detector rather than against it. If the detector should detect an object moving towards the
detector, the detection sensitivity is lower.
- The ideal height for wall mounting is 1.7 ~ 2.2 m. Ideally, the detector should have an angle of
6° ~ 12° from the wall.
Installation:
Plug and insert the batteries into the detector, close the lid or, if included, screw in the securing
screw. Now attach the detector bracket to the wall and mount the detector to the wall. Activate the
detector pairing on the main unit and move the detector in front of the detector to flash the LED.
The pairing can be done according to the instructions for the central unit of the alarm.
Replacing the batteries:
Pull the latch to open the detector, replace the battery, model 9V 6F22, note the correct orientation
of the "+" and "-" markings. Close and position the detector.
Motion detection timer:
There is a toggle button inside the detector for "5s" or "50s". It is factory set to 5 seconds. This
means that after detecting motion, the detector waits for 5 seconds before activating the sensor
again for detection. It is possible to set it to 50 seconds and greatly extend the battery life of the
detector.
Observe the rules for working with electrical devices and change the batteries carefully, only use
the type of battery specified in the specifications.
