WATER EXTRACTION
There are 2 ways to extract water from the dehumidifier:
Using the Water Tank:
• When the water tank is full, the Tank Full indicator
will illuminate.
• Press the Stand-By button to switch the unit to
standby mode and disconnect from the power
source.
• Grip the left and right handles of the water tank
securely and slowly and carefully pull out the tank.
Note: Take extra care to ensure not to tip the tank or spill the water onto the
unit. The bottom of the tank is uneven, so care should be taken to not place the
tank on the floor as it will fall over.
• Dispose of the water inside the tank, dry the inside thoroughly and then
carefully reinsert the tank back into the unit.
• Reconnect the power source and press the Stand-By button to turn the
dehumidifier back on. The appliance will resume dehumidification.
Note: Ensure the water tank is correctly installed in the dehumidifier otherwise
the appliance will not function.
Continuous Draining:
• Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain by
attaching a hose (included) to the Continuous Drainage
outlet.
• Switch the unit to standby mode and disconnect from the
power.
• Insert the hose (included) into the female end and lead the end
of the hose to a floor drain or another suitable drainage facility.
• Select the desired dehumidification mode and setting, continuous drainage
will begin automatically.
Note: When the continuous draining function is not being used, the female end
must be removed and the plastic cap replaced securely onto the Continuous
Drainage outlet. If the plastic cap is not secured onto the outlet, water will leak
from the back of the unit.
• Remove the plastic cap from the Continuous Drainage outlet
and attach the female threaded end securely.
• Ensure there are no kinks or holes in the hose that will prevent the water
from flowing freely.
• Reconnect the power source and press the Stand-By button to turn the
dehumidifier back on.
