CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before
cleaning.
• Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact
with these parts.
• To clean the exterior, wipe with a soft damp cloth and then dry thoroughly with a soft dry cloth.
• Remember to regularly clean the filter. For easier cleaning, detach the filter, clean with soapy water,
rinse, dry and then replace.
• Clean the base using a clean, dry cloth
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle
to prevent damage to the finish.
Descaling
Your kettle should be descaled regularly to prevent a build-up of limescale in the interior, as this may
cause the kettle to operate less efficiently. You can use any household descaler and follow the instructions
on the packaging.
