After switching on the power supply, the pre-installed Gates software will start on the ZZ1124. A
wizard assists with the initial set-up of the system.
The initial set-up includes the following steps:

Selecting the language: English or German.

The language can be changed subsequently.
u
Change the system settings.

[IP Address AE1300]
Sets the IP address, subnet mask and gateway of the ETH1 port from the ZZ1124. The connection to
the company network is established via the port.
The [Set] button saves the settings.
The IP address of the ETH1 port must be outside the range "192.168.0.x".

For example, the range "192.168.1.x" can be used.
[IP Adress Connector Program]
Sets the IP address of the PC / server that accesses the ZZ1124 via ETH1. The setting increases
connection security and makes it easier to find network errors.
The [Test] button tests the settings.
Use the same range for the IP address as for the setting [IP Address AE1300], for example
"192.168.1.x".
[NTP Server Address]
Sets the address of the NTP server. Via NTP, the time of the device is synchronised with a server.
The [Test] button shows the current time of the device in the output field below.
[Path to Log File ]
Sets the path to the log file. The log file documents errors and the status.
The [Create Log File] button creates the log file.
[Directory of Feedback File]
Sets the directory to the feedback file. In the controller, the data is processed and provided via the
feedback file. A new feedback file is created after each loading and unloading of the goods.
The [Create Feedback File] button creates the feedback file.
