Keys
Keys on the device allow use as an operating unit� A PLC can evaluate the key
signals, adapt the settings and send the data to be displayed to the IO-Link DIS-
PLAY during runtime�
Parameter setting
Default values can be set using a PLC or an IO-Link parameter setting tool�
Detailed information on set-up and programming can be found in the
programming instructions → www.ifm.com.
4 Installation
► Insert the unit into the system so that no mechanical forces are exerted on the
housing�
5 Electrical connection
The device must be connected by a qualified electrician�
The national and international regulations for the installation of electrical
equipment must be adhered to�
Voltage supply according to EN 50178, SELV, PELV�
► Disconnect power�
► Connect the unit as follows:
