4. Installation
Mount the pressure sensor on a suitable process connection (see type
label “Port Size”).
5. Electrical connection
The unit must only be connected by an electrician.
The national and international regulations for the installation of
electrical equipment must be observed.
Voltage supply to EN50178, SELV, PELV.
Protect the unit from electrostatic discharge and spikes.
Disconnect power before connecting the unit.
Wiring:
Core colours of ifm sockets:
1 = BN (brown), 2 = WH (white),
3 = BU (blue), 4 = BK (black).

Rise time for the switching output; damping:
Time between the change in the system pressure and the change
in the switching status. Only pressure changes > dAP are evalua-
ted. Pressure peaks of short duration or high frequency can thus
be filtered out.
