Installation
1. Unscrew the protective cover (B) using a suitable tool with plastic
covered jaws.
2. For remote venting: Screw the barbed hose fitting (1) onto the vent
(A). Mount tubing (2) onto the fitting and secure the unconnected
end in a protected area.
Or:
To seal the vent completely: Screw the protective cover (3) onto the
vent (A). This measure is only recommended if a small measuring
error can be tolerated. A measuring error can result from
- fluctuations of the atmospheric pressure and from
- fluctuations of the internal pressure in the unit caused by
temperature changes.
Note:
Please take care not to damage the M3 thread (A) on the vent when
changing fittings.
