3.3 System Fan Installation

To install the optional system fan, please follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Loosen the two thumbscrews on the front panel, slide the cover outward, and

then lift the cover up gently (

Figure 3-1

Step 2:

Unplug the SATA signal and power cables connected to the TANK-870AI series,

and then place the cover on a flat surface (

Figure 3-2

Step 3:

Attach the system fan to the TANK-870AI series and secure it by four retention

screws (

Figure 3-5

Step 4:

Connect the system fan cable to the

CPU_FAN1

connector on the motherboard

of TANK-870AI series.

Step 5:

Reconnect the SATA signal and power cables to the TANK-870AI series.

Step 6:

Reinstall the cover.
