The 

Serial-ATA Devices

 BIOS option specifies the SATA channels that can be used by 

the system. The following configuration options are available. 

 

Disabled

 

 

 

All SATA drives channels are disabled. No SATA drives 

connected to the system will be detected by the system.

 

Device 0 

 

Only one SATA drive channel is accessible. This 

enables two SATA drives to be connected to the system.

 

Device 0/1 

 

Only two SATA drive channels are accessible. This 

enables two SATA drives to be connected to the system.

 

Device 0/1/2 

Default 

All SATA drive channels are enabled.   

 

nVidia RAID Setup 

The 

nVidia RAID

 Setup option enables SATA drives to be configured as part of the RAID 

array. When the 

nVidia RAID

 Setup option is selected the following submenu appears:
