4.3.4 Serial Port Console Redirection
The Serial Port Console Redirection menu ( BIOS Menu 8 ) allows the console
redirection options to be configured. Console redirection allows users to maintain a
system remotely by re-directing keyboard input and text output through the serial port.

the Console Redirection option is enabled.

Terminal Type [ANSI]
Use the Terminal Type option to specify the remote terminal type.

VT100
The target terminal type is VT100

VT100+
The target terminal type is VT100+
