Step 5: Once aligned, press down until the DIMM is properly seated. Clip the two
handles into place. See Figure 3-7 .
Step 6: To remove a DIMM, push both handles outward. The memory module is ejected
by a mechanism in the socket.
CAUTION :
For dual channel configuration, install two identical memory modules
that feature the same capacity, timings, voltage, number of ranks and
the same brand.
3.8 M.2 Installation (Optional)
To install an M.2 card, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Remove the rear cover See 3.5 .
Step 2: Locate the M.2 slot as shown in Figure 3-8 .

Step 3: Press the end of the M.2 retaining clip. As shown in Figure 3-9 .
