The POS-8520 has a built-in IrDA port that supports Serial Infrared (SIR) or Amplitude

Shift Keyed IR (ASKIR) interfaces. To use the IrDA port, configure the FIR or ASKIR

model in the Peripheral Setup COM2 in BIOS. Then the normal RS-232 COM2 will be

disabled.
