Step 3:

Insert the cable connectors

. Once the cable connectors are properly aligned

with the USB connectors on the PCIE-690AM2, connect the cable connectors to

the onboard connectors. See

Figure 5-14

Attach the bracket to the chassis

. The USB 2.0 connectors are attached to a

bracket. To secure the bracket to the chassis please refer to the installation

instructions that came with the chassis.

The following external peripheral devices can be connected to the external peripheral

interface connectors.

RJ-45 Ethernet cable connectors

DVI display

Keyboard and mouse

To install these devices, connect the corresponding cable connector from the actual

device to the corresponding PCIE-690AM2 external peripheral interface connector making

sure the pins are properly aligned.
