4.2.1 SO-DIMM Installation

To install an SO-DIMM, please follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-1.

Figure 4-1: SO-DIMM Installation

Step 1:

Locate the SO-DIMM socket

on the solder side of the NANO-BT. Place the

board on an anti-static mat.

Step 2:

Align the SO-DIMM with the socket

. Align the notch on the memory with the

notch on the memory socket.

Step 3:

Insert the SO-DIMM

. Push the memory in at a 20º angle. (See

Figure 4-1

)

Step 4:

Seat the SO-DIMM

. Gently push downwards and the arms clip into place. (See

Figure 4-1

)

4.2.2 iRIS-1010 Module Installation (Optional)

WARNING:

The iRIS module slot is designed to install the IEI iRIS-1010 IPMI 2.0

module only. DO NOT install other modules into the iRIS module slot.

Doing so may cause damage to the NANO-BT.

To install the iRIS-1010 module, please follow the steps below and refer to

Figure 4-2
