Step 4: Open the SO-DIMM socket arms . Gently pull the arms of the SO-DIMM socket
out and push the rear of the SO-DIMM down. (See Figure 4-10 )
Step 5: Secure the SO-DIMM . Release the arms on the SO-DIMM socket. They clip into
place and secure the SO-DIMM in the socket. Step 0:
4.2.8 Drive Installation
A slim type CD drive and either a 2.5” or 3.5” hard drive can be installed in the ECK-1000.
4.2.8.1 Hard Drive Installation
An IDE or SATA hard drive can be installed in the system. To install the hard drive, follow
the installation procedures below.
Step 1: Remove the hard drive bracket screws.

Step 2: Install the hard drive in the bracket and fasten the four screws.
