1. To connect directly to the computer, use a cross over cable. 

  2. To use a HUB, use direct cables to separately connect the 

Converter and the computer to the hub. 

1. Install IPSearch.exe and run it. 

2. Click “Refresh” to search for the Converter. If you fail to find the 
    connected Converter, check if the connection and the TCP/IP 
    settings of the system are all correct. 
3. From the list, left-click on the Converter you’d like to configure. 
4. Enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask and click “Alter” to save   
  the information. 
5. Close the dialog box. Then, wait for about 5 seconds and press 
    “Refresh” to update data. Double-click on the Converter you’ve   
    just configured, and the Converter Web configuration window   
  will open.

If you have a STARWATCH software CD, you can find 

the ILAN422/485 setup program in the CD.

Alternatively, you can download the ILAN422/485 

setup program from the IDTECK Website. 
(www.idteck.com).
