Installation
RS232 Interface
Connect the DB9 connector into the Host equipment’s serial port. An A/C power
adaptor is required to supply power to the RS232 interface device. To apply power to
the unit, first connect the output connector of the power adaptor into the housing of the
DE9 (RS232) connector, notice that the end that has the power jack should be
connected to the host. Then, plug the power supply adaptor into a wall power outlet to
power up the unit.
The default COM port settings are Baud rate 38400 Data bit 8, Stop bit 1, and Parity:
None
USB Interface
Plug the USB connector into a USB communication port on the Host. No A/C power
adaptor is needed to power the USB unit. The power is supplied by the USB
connection.
